Does this website use cookies?
This website doesn't use cookies for statistics or advertising unless you accept them, and right now it doesn't use them at all. Our visitor statistics come from Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, which count visits and measure page speed without cookies. They don't identify you, and they don't follow you to other websites. Without asking, the website only sets two small cookies it needs to work, which you can read about below.
Cookies and browser storage we use
| Name or type | What it does | How long it stays |
|---|---|---|
| NEXT_LOCALE (cookie) | Remembers which language version of the website you're using, so the home page opens in that language next time. It's only set when that language differs from your browser's language, or when you switch language. | Until you close your browser |
| hault-consent (cookie) | Remembers your choice in the cookie banner or in Cookie settings, so we don't ask you again on every page. | 12 months |
| Session storage: how you found us | Keeps the website that referred you, the page where your visit started and any campaign tags (utm). If you send a request, we add these details to it. | Until you close the tab |
| Session storage: your choice on the homepage | Remembers what you chose under 'Where do you want to grow?', so the project form shows the same choice. It holds no personal data. | Until you close the tab |
| hault-motion (local storage) | Remembers that you paused the animations with 'Pause motion' at the bottom of the page. | Until you play motion again or clear your browser data |
We don't need your consent for this storage, because the website needs it to do what you ask. When you first open the home page, we pick its language from your browser's languages. If none of them is Dutch, English or Turkish, we look at the country you're browsing from, and we don't store that country. The language switcher at the top always lets you choose yourself, and the language cookie remembers that choice.
Session storage is a part of your browser that only works for the tab you have open. Other websites can't read it, and your browser deletes it when you close the tab. We use it instead of cookies because this information is only needed during your visit.
Your choice in the cookie banner
When we switch on a service that sets cookies for statistics or marketing, you'll see a cookie banner on your next visit. 'Reject all' and 'Accept all' sit side by side at the same size, and 'Settings' lets you choose per category. Until you choose, everything except necessary storage stays off, and if you reject, the website works exactly the same. As long as we don't use such a service, you won't see a banner, because there is nothing to choose.
We keep your choice for 12 months in the hault-consent cookie. It holds the categories you allow, the version of the explanation you saw, the time of your choice and a random code that says nothing about you. We record the same details in a log, so we can show which choice you made. The log doesn't contain your IP address or your browser. If we change the categories or how we explain them, we'll ask for your choice again. You can change your choice at any time through 'Cookie settings' at the bottom of every page.
Three categories of cookies
| Category | What it's for | Which cookies | Right now |
|---|---|---|---|
| Necessary | Your language, your cookie choice and what you pick during this visit | NEXT_LOCALE, hault-consent and the storage in the first table | Always on |
| Statistics | Google Analytics 4 counts which pages visitors view and how they use the website | _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID, for up to two years | Off |
| Marketing | Google Ads measures which ads lead to a visit or a request, and may show ads based on your visit to this website | _gcl_au, for up to three months, and cookies Google sets on its own domains | Off |
Statistics and marketing are switched off right now. Before we switch one on, we update this table. The legal basis for those cookies is then your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), and Google processes the data as described in its own privacy policy.
How we make Google wait
Before you choose anything, every page tells Google that it may not set cookies or use data for advertising. We do this with Google Consent Mode, where every type of storage starts as denied. We only load Google Analytics or Google Ads after you allow the matching category, so nothing is sent to Google without your consent. If you withdraw your consent, Google's cookies stop and we remove the cookies Google set on this website.
Without your consent, we don't save identifiers from ad clicks either.
Booking an intro call
You book an intro call in our own calendar in Google Workspace. We don't load another service's calendar into the page for this, so no cookies from other companies are involved. Our privacy policy explains what happens to your details when you book.
Links to other services
We don't embed content from other services, such as maps, that loads before you click. A map link opens the other service's own website, and that website has its own cookie policy.
How to change your choice or delete cookies
You can change your choice for statistics and marketing at any time through 'Cookie settings' at the bottom of every page. You can also delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings, and you can clear session storage straight away by closing the tab. If you delete hault-consent, we'll ask for your choice again as soon as we use statistics or marketing.
