SEO agency for Google and AI search

As an SEO agency, we work on getting your site found in Google and named in the AI answers of ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews. It starts with keyword research and a baseline in each language you sell in, and after that we measure and improve the site month by month.

Last updated

Example: for two searches in a row, a page on yourbrand.com climbs to the top spot in Google and the AI answer names that page as a source.

SEO, AEO and GEO at Hault

SEO is search engine optimisation, the work that gets your pages into Google's results. AEO and GEO are about being found and cited in AI answers, the summaries that ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews give. We handle all three from a single baseline, for companies that sell in one language or in several.

Who our SEO and AEO work is for

Our SEO work suits companies whose customers search before they buy, in one language or in several. It fits online stores with a large catalogue and service companies that want to be named when someone asks an AI assistant for a supplier. It also suits brands that sell across borders, for example from the Netherlands into Germany.

What you get from our SEO and AEO work

First you see where you stand today, in Google and in AI answers. Then we set up structured data and sitemaps, improve speed and give each language its own pages, and from there the monthly SEO cycle decides what we work on next.

SEO and AEO results in our case studies

The three projects below started in very different places: a travel organisation that needed a new Dutch version of its site, an online store that was entirely in Turkish and a small WordPress site. For Gül Reizen and Avrupa Yöresel, the work began with research and a baseline.

For Gül Reizen, a Turkish-Dutch travel organisation in Amsterdam, we did keyword research in Dutch and Turkish and built a new Dutch version of the site with 10 pages.

Gül Reizen · Google, mobile

In one measurement on one day (12 October 2026), Gül Reizen's position for 'umrah reizen' had moved from 59 to 3, and the brand was named in 6 of 10 AI answers, up from 0 of 8.

How our SEO work runs

We start with an audit that becomes your baseline: where you rank, which search terms matter and whether AI answers mention you. The blueprint turns that into a plan per language and per page. Once the technical fixes are in and the pages are live, the monthly SEO cycle starts, with the same AI prompt test every month.

  1. Kick-off and audit
  2. Blueprint
  3. Prototype
  4. Build and launch
  5. Automate and improveOngoing

A project usually takes 6 to 10 weeks, and the monthly SEO cycle continues after that for as long as you want it.

How SEO differs from AEO and GEO

SEO works on where your pages appear in Google's results and in Google Maps, while AEO and GEO work on whether ChatGPT, Perplexity or Google AI Overviews mention your brand when someone asks them a question. Your customers use both, so we measure both from the start.

AI answers often draw on the same pages that rank well in Google, so most of the work overlaps. The extra work for AI answers sits in structured data (schema), FAQ blocks that answer the questions people really ask, an llms.txt file, access for AI crawlers and mentions of your brand on other sites.

Research and a baseline before we change anything

We start by measuring where you stand today, in Google, in Google Maps and in the answers AI tools give, so every later change has something to be compared with. The research covers the keywords your customers use, the search results for those terms and the competitors that keep turning up.

Each language gets its own research, because people in the Netherlands and in Germany don't search with the same words. For Gül Reizen, a Turkish-Dutch travel organisation in Amsterdam, we did the keyword research in Dutch and Turkish. That led to a new Dutch version of the site with 10 pages and a blog, an FAQ system and structured data, and a monthly SEO cycle after that.

On 12 October 2026, Gül Reizen had seven search terms without its brand name in the mobile top 10, up from none. The term 'umrah reizen' went from position 59 to 3, and the brand was named in 6 of 10 AI answers, up from 0 of 8. That was one measurement on one day, and the monthly cycle keeps measuring.

Technical SEO that Google and AI crawlers can read

A page only ranks or gets quoted when Google and AI crawlers can read it properly. We add structured data (schema) and FAQ blocks, set up hreflang and a sitemap per language, write an llms.txt file and check that AI crawlers are allowed in. On Shopify, catalogue SEO gives every product and collection the fields it needs.

Multilingual sites need their own URLs and hreflang tags for each language, or Google may show the wrong version or treat the pages as duplicates. Avrupa Yöresel is an example. Before our work, the store ranked for 0 of 506 keywords in its customers' language, because everything was in Turkish. Now it has Dutch and German language versions with their own URLs.

A move to a new platform is a risky moment for rankings. When Birun Print & Sign's new Shopify store went live on 28 August 2026, we set up 301 redirects from the old URLs.

What our SEO agency does each month

After the setup, the work carries on as a monthly SEO cycle. Each month we measure, improve existing pages, add content, fix technical issues and run the fixed AI prompt test, and the report shows what we changed, what moved against the baseline and what we plan next.

The prompt test asks the same buying questions in the same AI tools each time, so you can see whether your brand turns up more often. It does for AI answers what a ranking check does for Google.

Your Google Business Profile, mentions and reviews are part of the same cycle. We set up the profile and keep it current, and we work on mentions and reviews, because Google, Google Maps and AI answers all look at what other people say about you.

How long does SEO take?

A project usually takes 6 to 10 weeks, covering the research, the baseline, the technical fixes and the first new pages. After that the monthly SEO cycle continues for as long as you want it. How fast positions move depends on your market and your competitors, so we don't promise a date.

Nobody controls Google's results, so we won't promise you the first position. What we can show you is what we changed each month and what moved against the baseline. If you'd like to see where your site stands before you talk to anyone, the free SEO check gives you a score and the issues that matter most.

What SEO and AEO cost

What it costs depends on the scope of the work: the number of pages, products or systems, the platform, the languages and markets, and what's already in place. Every project gets its own proposal. After a 30-minute intro call, you'll receive a proposal with the scope, timeline and price.

Frequently asked questions

What is an SEO agency?

An SEO agency works on how your website shows up when people search. That usually means keyword research, fixing the technical problems that keep pages out of the results, writing or improving pages and tracking positions over time. Most agencies now look at AI answers as well. We do the research separately for each language you sell in, and the monthly report shows what we changed and what moved.

How much do SEO agencies charge?

There's no standard price, because the work differs from site to site. The size of your site or catalogue, the number of languages, the technical state of the site and how many pages need new content all play a part, and so does the choice between a one-off project and a monthly SEO cycle. Every project gets its own proposal. After a 30-minute intro call, you'll receive a proposal with the scope, timeline and price.

Is SEO dead now with AI?

No. AI answers often draw on the same pages that rank well in Google, so the groundwork hasn't changed. What's new is that you also want your brand named in those answers, which is why we track them too. For Gül Reizen we measured both, and in one measurement on 12 October 2026 the brand appeared in 6 of 10 AI answers, up from 0 of 8.

Are SEO agencies worth it?

That depends on whether you can follow what the agency does. We start with a baseline, so every change is compared with where you began, and each monthly report shows what moved. For a small site in a local market, the do-it-yourself route can be enough at first, and our free SEO check shows you where to start without hiring anyone.

Can ChatGPT do SEO?

ChatGPT can help with parts of SEO, such as topic ideas, first drafts and checking structured data. It can't see your Search Console data, measure your rankings or follow how AI answers mention you over time, and it doesn't know your customers. We use AI tools in our own work too, and a person always decides what goes live and checks the results against real data.

How do you measure whether AI answers mention us?

We use a fixed AI prompt test. It is a set of buying questions your customers would ask, and every month we put the same questions to the same AI tools, such as ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews. Because the questions stay the same, you can see whether your brand is named more often than at the baseline. The test runs in every monthly SEO cycle, next to the ranking checks in Search Console.
