Web design in Amsterdam for English-speaking teams

We're a web design agency in Amsterdam that builds websites and online stores in English, Dutch or Turkish. When you move from an old site, we redirect every old URL to its new address, so the pages Google already knows keep working.

An Amsterdam agency that works in English

Plenty of teams in Amsterdam work in English every day, so their website has to read well in English first, often with a Dutch version next to it. We're based in Amsterdam, and you can work with us in English, Dutch or Turkish.

Web design in English for teams in and around Amsterdam

We build the English site as the original version, instead of translating a Dutch site afterwards. When your customers need Dutch or Turkish as well, we add those as language versions with their own URLs.

For Expert Air Services at Schiphol we built an English Webflow site with a CMS and structured data (schema).

Website design in English and Dutch, each with its own URLs

A site in English and Dutch works best when each language has its own URLs and hreflang tags, so Google shows each visitor the right version. One design and one CMS carry both languages, while each version gets its own page titles and search terms.

Private Label Specialist, our own brand, runs 234 pages in Dutch and English from one Astro site, with a catalogue of 26 product groups and a quote basket for business buyers. An SEO check runs in every build, so a mistake in either language is caught before a page goes live.

Webflow, Shopify or custom code

We choose the platform per situation: Webflow for marketing teams that want to edit their own site, Shopify for commerce, and custom code for performance and scale. The question that usually decides it is who will edit the site once it's live.

For Vergola, which makes garden rooms and patio covers to measure, we replaced a small WordPress site with a custom static site of 52 pages and a catalogue.

Redesigning without losing what Google already knows

Your current pages already bring in visits from Google, so a redesign starts by mapping every old URL to its new address. We move sites from WordPress, Wix or Squarespace with a redirect map, test it at launch and set up the CMS before we hand the site over to your team.

When Birun Print & Sign in Amsterdam and Almere moved to a new Shopify store, we set up 301 redirects from the old URLs and added an English language version. The store has been live since 28 August 2026.

How a web design project with us runs

It starts with a 30-minute intro call on a weekday between 12:00 and 17:00 Amsterdam time, in English, Dutch or Turkish. After the call you get a proposal with the scope, timeline and price, and a project usually takes 6 to 10 weeks.

The people who plan your site are the ones who launch it.

If your team works in English and wants a website built in Amsterdam, request an intro call. You'll hear from us within one working day.

Websites and stores we built from Amsterdam

Expert Air Services at Schiphol got an English Webflow site and digital delivery notes, and Vergola a custom site of 52 pages on its own design system. Birun Print & Sign runs a Shopify store with product configurators, and Private Label Specialist, our own brand, has 234 pages in Dutch and English.

Frequently asked questions

Do you design websites in English?

Yes. We design the English site as the original version and add Dutch or Turkish versions when your customers need them. Each version gets its own URLs, so Google can show it to the right people. You also work with us in English throughout the project, from the intro call to the handover.

Can you redesign our website without losing Google rankings?

A redesign puts rankings at risk when old URLs stop working, so we map every old URL to its new address in a redirect map before launch and test each redirect when the site goes live. We do this for moves from WordPress, Wix and Squarespace, and in the weeks after launch we check Search Console for errors.

How long does a web design project take?

A project usually takes 6 to 10 weeks, depending on the number of pages and languages, the platform and how quickly feedback moves. If you only need strategy, such as positioning, an audit or a blueprint, that part can stand on its own. You'll find the timeline for your project in the proposal we send after the intro call.

How much does web design in Amsterdam cost?

The cost depends on the number of pages and languages, the platform, and whether you move content and URLs from an old site. A marketing site on Webflow needs different work than a custom-built site or a Shopify store. Every project gets its own proposal. After a 30-minute intro call, you'll receive a proposal with the scope, timeline and price.

Can we update the website ourselves after launch?

Yes. We set up the CMS for your team and hand the site over, so you can change texts and images and add pages without a developer. If your marketing team wants to publish often, Webflow is usually the right choice, because pages can be edited in a visual editor while the design stays as we built it.

Do you also work for companies outside Amsterdam?

Yes. We work from Amsterdam for businesses in the Netherlands, the rest of Europe and Türkiye, and we deliver our services in Türkiye too. Glomacs and AZTech, two training organisations based in Dubai, have worked with us since 2023.

Can we meet in person?

A first meeting is always online or by phone, as a 30-minute intro call on a weekday between 12:00 and 17:00 Amsterdam time. You can plan it online up to two weeks ahead, in English, Dutch or Turkish. Depending on the assignment, we then come to you on location, in Türkiye too.
