How we work on your project, step by step

Most projects take 6 to 10 weeks. You see the plan and a clickable prototype before we build anything, and the people at the kick-off stay until the launch.

Three ways to work with us

Strategy only gives you positioning, an audit and a blueprint that your own team or another partner can build on. Full delivery covers strategy, design, build and handover. In a long-term partnership we stay on after launch to improve the site, automate more of your work or run your marketing as a dedicated team.

The five steps of a project

Every project goes through the same steps in the same order, and at each step you can see what has been decided and what comes next.

An example of what you see in each phase: the baseline, the blueprint with its structure and platform, and the clickable prototype. Then come Vergola's live site and a monthly report that waits for a person's approval.
  1. Week 1

    Kick-off and audit

We start by looking at what's already there: your brand, your current site and its search data, and the work your team still does by hand. Depending on the project we also look at your competitors and at how AI answers describe you. The result is a baseline, and after launch we measure against it.

  2. After the audit

    Blueprint

The blueprint is the plan for your project. It sets the structure of the site or store, the pages that matter most for search, the platform, the integrations and the timeline. You approve it before any design work starts.

  3. Before the build

    Prototype

Before anything is built, you click through a prototype and tell us what feels wrong. We change it until the structure and the main flows work for you.

  4. Live in weeks 6 to 10

    Build and launch

We build with real content, in the languages you need, on the platform agreed in the blueprint. When you move from WordPress, Wix or Squarespace, a redirect map sends every old URL to its new address. At launch your team gets a CMS it can edit and a proper handover.

  5. After launch

    Automate and improve

After launch we measure against the baseline from the first week. That can mean a monthly SEO cycle with a fixed AI prompt test, automations that take repetitive work off your team, or dashboards with automatic reporting.

Projects in more than one language

We work and build in Dutch, English and Turkish, and we add German and French language versions for clients. Avrupa Yöresel sells to the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and France. Its store now has Dutch and German language versions with their own URLs, and its VAT rates are set up per country through the Shopify product category.

The first step

The first step is a 30-minute intro call on Google Meet or by phone, on a weekday between 12:00 and 17:00 Amsterdam time. You can book it online up to two weeks ahead. After the call you'll receive a proposal with the scope, timeline and price.

Frequently asked questions

How long does a project with Hault take?

Most projects take 6 to 10 weeks from kick-off to launch. The scope decides where yours lands, because a brand, a marketing site, a Shopify store with product configurators and a set of automations each take a different amount of time. The proposal you receive after the 30-minute intro call shows the timeline before we start.

Can we hire Hault for strategy only?

Yes. Strategy only gives you positioning, an audit and a blueprint, which your own team or another partner can build on. If you later want us to build it as well, the blueprint becomes the starting point for full delivery, and the work you've already paid for carries straight into design and build.

Who will we work with at Hault?

You work with our core team of specialists, and the people at the kick-off stay until the launch. The same team covers brand, design, websites, Shopify, SEO, automation and operations. A first meeting is always online or by phone. Depending on the assignment, we then come to you on location, in Türkiye too.

Do we see the design before you build it?

Yes. After the blueprint you get a clickable prototype, and you can try the structure, the design and the main flows before anything is built. For a Shopify store that might be a product configurator or a quote basket. For a brand, it's the visual identity applied to real pages.

Which platform will you build on?

We choose the platform per situation: Webflow for marketing teams that want to edit their own site, Shopify for commerce, and custom code for performance and scale. We make the choice in the blueprint, based on who edits the site, what you sell and which systems it has to connect to.

What happens after launch?

Your team gets a CMS it can edit and a proper handover, and you can stop there. Or we stay on in a long-term partnership with a monthly SEO cycle and a fixed AI prompt test, automations, or dashboards with automatic reporting. Ads come only as a follow-on to a website or SEO project, and always as a draft first.
