Research in two languages

A Turkish-Dutch travel organisation can be found through searches in Dutch and in Turkish, so we started with keyword research in both languages. Keyword research shows which words people actually type and how often they search for them. That research told us which trips and which questions the Dutch pages had to cover first. From it we built a new Dutch language version with 10 pages and a blog, so each important search has a page that answers it. That covers SEO (search engine optimisation). AEO came next, the work of being found and cited in AI answers.

Questions answered on the page

Travellers have practical questions before they book a trip, and search engines and AI tools look for clear answers they can show. We added an FAQ system, so the answers sit on the pages where people need them. We also added structured data (schema), which tells Google in a fixed format what a page contains, such as a question and its answer. Google can read pages like these more easily, and AI tools find it easier to quote them.

A new theme and a booking flow with a deposit

On Shopify we redesigned the theme and built a booking flow with a deposit. A trip is a bigger purchase than most online orders, and a deposit lets a customer reserve a place without paying the full amount at once. The search work brings people to the site, and the booking flow lets them book once they've found the right trip.

How we measured the result

The figures on this page come from one measurement on one day, 12 October 2026. On that day, seven non-branded search terms were in the mobile top 10, up from none, and 'umrah reizen' had moved from position 59 to 3. A place in the mobile top 10 means the page shows on the first page of results on a phone. Rankings change from day to day, so we treat one measurement as a snapshot and measure again every month. Each monthly SEO cycle also includes a fixed AI prompt test, which is how we follow whether AI answers name Gül Reizen. You can read how we run this work on our SEO and AEO page.

What travellers can find now

People who search in Dutch can now find Gül Reizen without typing its name, and they get answers to their questions on the page itself. When they're ready, they can book a trip online with a deposit. Each monthly SEO cycle shows which pages to improve next.
